What You Get with Cadraft

Our plans have been designed to meet the Uniform Building Code (UBC) at the time they were drawn. Each set of vellums provides the following:

1. Floor plan - Everything you expect to see: walls, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, doors, windows, dimensions, and general notes.

2. Elevations - Shows all four exterior elevations and roof plan.

3. Foundation - This sheet shows the concrete foundation, footing layout and details. (Some plans available in either slab or raised floor).

4. Roof Framing - Identifies roof pitch, framing sizes and spaces.  (Note: If plans call for manufactured trusses, we suggest contacting a local truss manufacturer to assure compliance with local codes and regulations.)  Local truss manufacturers do their own drawings as part of their package.

5. Cross-Section - Cut away view of building identifying foundation, interior walls, exterior walls, floor, stairways and roof framing.

6. Details - Provides additional information on specific construction procedures and requirements.

*HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical - Locations of fixtures are shown. Your local licensed contractor will size piping and develop specifications with you.

Other Requirements:

Due to regional variations and codes, minor plan modifications may be required by your local building department.

Material List

Due to the fluctuation of both materials and pricing we do not offer a material list.  Your contractor or local lumber retailer is best qualified to prepare the material list, per your final layout.
